An intergenerational conversation about women’s health — at MEND, Upper Montclair, NJ.
Join MEND founder Renà Ambrose, Dr. Aurora DeJuliis, her daughter, endocrinologist Dr. Alessia Roehnelt, and pelvic health physical therapist Dr. Tanvi Maharaja for an honest, intergenerational conversation about women’s health.
Together, we’ll explore what has changed from one generation to the next, what women still aren’t told about their bodies, and why concerns related to pelvic health, hormones, intimacy, aging, and menopause so often go unspoken — even between mothers and daughters.
This is an open, informative conversation designed to turn silence into dialogue, dialogue into understanding, understanding into action, and action into empowerment.

Intimacy and Pelvic Health Through Perimenopause & Beyond — at MEND Lymphatic Wellness Center, Upper Montclair, NJ.
Our next Mend Your Menopause conversation is now FREE to attend.
We’ll be talking about the pelvic and intimate health that so many women experience through perimenopause, menopause, postpartum, and beyond: leaking when you cough or sneeze, recurrent UTIs, dryness, discomfort, pelvic floor changes, changes after childbirth, pain with intimacy, and simply not feeling the same in your body anymore. These are incredibly common experiences, but common does not mean you simply have to live with them.
Join Melissa Donahue, LCSW, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist; Dr. Tanvi Maharaja, PT, DPT, OCS, PCES; and Dr. Komal Yadav for an open, clinically grounded conversation about what can change during this stage of life — and what we can actually do about it.
Renà Ambrose, PTA, LMT, CLT — Founder & Wellness Director of MEND — hosts the evening at the MEND Lymphatic Wellness Center, and Dr. Tanvi Maharaja will discuss the changes in sexual function that can happen as we advance into menopause — and what pelvic health physical therapy can do about them.
Hormonal changes can affect vaginal and vulvar tissue, comfort, lubrication, urinary health, libido, arousal, and the way we experience intimacy. But discomfort, avoidance, and giving up on a satisfying sex life do not have to be inevitable parts of getting older.
We’ll talk about why these changes happen, what options are available to help, and how we can continue to experience pleasure, connection, and a fulfilling sex life through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. Because thriving through menopause should include this part of our health, too.
We’ll be talking pelvic anatomy, tissue changes, pelvic health, comfort, pain, relationships, intimacy, sex, and the changes that can happen through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
